Enclosure

The most obvious part of our unique technology is the cabinet. Unlike other loudspeakers the cabinet is made of sand-cast aluminum, shaped into spherical surfaces which are thin and geometrically extremely stiff. Inside the walls are covered with a sandwich of heavy/stiff dampening layers. Then the different parts of the cabinet are joined with dampening elastomers ensuring further dampening. Finally the cabinet is pre-tensioned with 2500N to eliminate virtually all vibration. This uncompromising and novel approach gives us an extremely stiff and acoustically dead cabinet. This offers the elements the best possible working conditions for a holographic and controlled reproduction of music - Even at high sound intensities.
