Woofers

The Nordic Tone Model 1 is equipped with some of the finest elements avaliable. The woofers from the SEAS excel series are probably the most precise units found today, with an unheard-of combination of punch and control. Heavy copper rings mounted above and below the T-shaped pole piece reduce non-linear and modulation distortion and increase the overload margin.

Midrange

The critical midrange driver is also supplied by SEAS. It is a specially designed version based on a unit from their excel series, where we combine their best linear motor with a doped paper cone. The result is a very smooth response combined with low distortion and excellent transient response.

Tweeter

The tweeter is a remarkable Scan-Speak unit with our own carefully designed slight horn load. The unit ensures a flat response well above 30.000 Hz, and integrates beautifully with the midrange unit. The tweeter is renowned for its ability to deliver air and openness to quality recordings, and also for delivering comfortable control over rougher tracks.
