Electrocompaniet acquires The Nordic Tone

 

Electrocompaniet is proud to announce that today we have acquired all patents, products and right to the Norwegian speaker project The Nordic Tone.

The development of The Nordic Tone is one of largest research and development projects within loudspeaker design that has been carried out. The multi disciplinary team consisting of industrial designers, specialists in acoustics, engineers and metallurgists has been working for three years to develop these exclusive high performance loudspeakers. The result of this ambitious project is a HighEnd speaker with excellent sound and quality.

Electrocompaniet has been partly involved ever since 2004 and during the last months we have worked intensely on the development of a new crossover – this work has been carried out in co-operation with the Norwegian speaker manufacturer Patos. A fantastic speaker has become even better and The Nordic Tone reproduces music very precisely, naturally, detailed, dynamic and powerful.

The Nordic Tone is launched in Munich as the new HighEnd speaker from Electrocompaniet, and for the first time we can offer a complete range of electronics and speakers at different price levels.
